The next regular Quarterly Meeting of the DGT Alumni Association is scheduled for Saturday, April 25 at 12:00 p.m., Eastern. The meetings generally run for 90 minutes. Because of the Covid-19 related restrictions in effect in New York City, the meeting will be online, via the Zoom app. To receive an invitation to join the meeting, please send an email to DGT Secretary Gil Gerald at ggerald@dgtaa.org. Please send the request, preferably before the meeting starts or there may be a delay in responding to the request. The agenda usually includes reports from the Officers (President, Vice President, Treasurer) the House Manager and a Gallery House Coach. Old and New Business topics will include: (1) the hiring of a Legal Firm specializing in real estate development and financing to support our planned efforts to make major improvements to the property; (2) approval of a policy regarding tenants and rent during the short-term Coronavirus stay at home orders; and (3) moving towards having reunions and exhibitions to the virtual world, at least optionally, including a proposed reunion of the Class of Spring 1970 and members who joined or were present in the 1970s.

Chris Duggan, as well as a brief Graduation/Induction into DGT Alumni Association Ceremony for the four graduates of Spring 2019 Gallery House. 2017 Pratt Alumni Day
Saturday, October 7 is Pratt Institute’s 2017 Alumni Day and Parent's Day. The day's activities will welcome and especially celebrate graduates of the class of 1967. DGT's Annual Alumni Exhibit is part of the published program, and we are working collaboratively with the Alumni Office on such details as the food and refreshments for a 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. reception at the House. Register Today! There is no charge as part of registration if you are only participating in the DGT Alumni Association Reunion, 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.

One-Day Strategic Planning Retreat
A one-day Strategic Planning Retreat will take place at the House, starting at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 6. Any DGT member may join with the Board to update the 2013 to 2018 Strategic Plan so that it now covers the period from January 2019 through December 2023. There will be a working lunch. The agenda will include: (1) a review for changes if needed to the Mission and Values statements, (2) a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis; (3) a review and updating of the current strategies; (4) and list of outcomes, supportive activities and target dates (milestones) for moving forward on each of the strategies.
